About Me

Hello! I am Vaishavi Jayashankar.

I’m a rising junior at Northeastern University, majoring in Computer Science and Business Administration. I’m passionate about blending technology with creativity to enhance product and business experiences, bringing ideas to life.

I have experience in software development, data analytics, cloud engineering, web development, and machine learning, and I am actively seeking opportunities in these fields.

Currently, I’m a Data & Impact Co-op at the NU Center of Entrepreneurship Education (NUCEE), where I lead data collection and impact reporting across initiatives like VMN, IDEA, and Mosaic. I’m focused on improving transparency and data-driven evaluation of program success, while also contributing to the creation of this year’s full impact report.

Outside of my co-op, I am expanding my cloud computing expertise with AWS to build scalable applications. I’m working on projects like cloud-hosted personal portfolios and a mood-based Spotify playlist generator, both deployed on AWS for high performance and reliability using services like S3, CloudFront, and EC2.

In addition, I have hands-on data analytics experience at Aspire, where I created 10+ visualizations that identified alumni engagement trends, leading to a 15% increase in retention. I also analyzed marketing performance and provided insights that improved engagement strategies, turning data into actionable outcomes.
